Berlin is once again the capital of the Federal German Republic and a marvelous city to visit. A group of German sugar equipment and service companies has organised and partly sponsored this Pre-Conference visit for members and their partners who are attending the 2008 Meeting. You will be staying at the Radisson Hotel. The Programme is as follows :

| 18:00 hrs | Dinner in the historical Charlottenburg Palace with Baroque Concert [meet in hotel lobby at time given] |

| May 25 | 09:00 hrs | Leave hotel for visit to Potsdam and Sanssouci with lunch |
| 14:00 hrs | Continue on the bus to Leipzig for SIT Registration |
The Welcome Evening and the Charlottenburg dinner and concert are both being kindly sponsored by Schmidt + Haensch GmbH & Co., ESCON GmbH and Bartens Verlag.
The cost of the visit is $150 per person plus the cost of your hotel. The visit is being organised by Dr Chris Schulze from ESCON but registration is being managed by SIT. If you wish to attend then please complete the registration form and fax it to Leon at the number on the form by March 15 and then book yourself into the Radisson using the Berlin hotel booking form by March 28.
