Braunschweig - corrupted to Brunswick in English - is the 'B' in BMA and an important centre for the German sugar industry. A group of German sugar equipment and service companies has organised and partly sponsored this Post-Conference visit for members and their partners who are attending the 2008 Meeting.
Members who opt for this visit will leave the Zeitz factory by bus on the Wednesday after the tour and lunch, checking in to the StadtPalais Hotel in Braunschweig on arrival. That evening there will be a dinner in a former Sugar Factory at which you are promised a special surprise. On the Thursday morning there will be an exhibition of equipment and services of sponsoring companies followed by a visit to BMA's workshops with lunch. There will be an alternative sightseeing programme for partners.
The visit is being kindly sponsored by BMA and BMA Schaltanlagen, GEA, IPRO, Putsch and Siemens.
There is no cost to the visit except the cost of your hotel and your onward travel from Braunschweig. The visit is being organised by Theresia Schacht from BMA. If you wish to attend then please complete the registration form and fax it to her at the number on the form by March 15 and then book yourself into the StadtPalais using the Braunschweig hotel booking form by March 28.
