Adobe Reader 8.0 and SIT CD's

We suggest the steps below to remedy any problems with starting your CD-ROM Proceedings earlier than Acrobat 8.0 :

  1. Start Adobe Reader 8 without the CD-ROM in the drive.
  2. While holding the Shift key down, insert the CD-ROM into your PC. Continue holding the Shift key for a few moments while the disc spins up. This bypasses the "auto start" feature of the disc.
  3. In Adobe Reader, select File > Open... and browse to your CD-ROM drive (this is often D: or E:)
  4. Open the "Start.pdf" or "Begin.pdf" file on your CD-ROM. The product should function normally.
